Hooky McPegleg is on a quest for the greatest treasure of all: literacy. Yes, as the town's new postman, he has to learn how to read. But that's not all. There's a sinister mystery in town, and Hooky may be caught in the middle of it.

This is one of my favorite RON games because it's short on puzzles and long on story development. I get easily frustrated by puzzles. -cornjob

Walkthrough:

Cycle right-click mouse cursors and perform the following actions to complete the game. This walkthrough was created to maximize brevity and enjoyment - there are more interactions possible that add to the richness of the game.

Leave the Post Office.
Enter the alley to the West of Scid's Bar.
Talk to the Bum. Leave the alley.
Enter the apartment building at the East end of Town Square.
Knock on the middle door.
Talk to Mika and get her to take your picture. Return to the Bum's alley.
Show the bum your picture. Give the Bum *her* letter (look at the letters in your inventory to find out who they belong to.) Leave the alley. Go North from Town Square and enter the hospital.
Give Vicks Vapourrub his letter. Leave the hospital and leave Town Square to the East. Go past the Cemetery to the East to reach the gym.
Give the coach his letter.
Take the new (green) letter off the table. Use it on the steamer to open it. Leave the Post Office & enter Scid's Bar.
Show the letter to Michael Gower, the zombie.
Use your hand (hook) on the cell lock.
Push No-Beard.
